In thy lusterless eyes I can see
a dim endless silent sea,
an overwhelming dark wave of sorrow
haunting thy mind promising no tomorrow
smothering every slight hope in thy faint heart
snatching the soul from the lifeless thou art.

At a glance thy very existence seemed everlasting
nonetheless, akin to mortals thou art bound to resting.
Thou wilt pitifully strive
yet thou canst never rise alive.

A glimpse of a last destiny my words are likely to be
hence shall this be a recall for me and thee.
